Another Beautiful Long Weekend...

What's better than a long weekend? Two consecutive long weekends!

Aside from Easter, this Sunday, April 4, 2010, is Dean's and my first year wedding anniversary! I am in complete shock at how fast the year went by! In the words of Liz Lemon... "What the WHAT?!"

I absolutely LOVE long weekends... thank you Kuhio Day Holiday for making this 3 day weekend possible! I am so looking forward to it! My plans this weekend:

-Spend some much needed quality time with the husband

-Visit the Honolulu Academy of Arts

-Dust off the camera and take some pictures

-Make some time to stop and smell the roses

-Fight the urge to go to Aloha Rag to try on R13 jeans

-Enjoy an ice cold glass of Umeshu

-Go to a friend's 1 year old baby birthday party

-Mani/Pedi with Mom

-Sit on the porch steps and play with Sasha, my new feline friend who's been coming around lately.

-Relax and enjoy the long weekend

Friday + Payday + Holiday = LOVIN' LIFE

It's Friday, today is payday, and Monday is a Holiday! I'm lovin' it! It's also First Friday... AND... my friend Nora is visiting from Japan, so I may try to make it out tonight... we'll see though because I have two art projects due next week and I gotta get up somewhat early tomorrow to get to the UH Manoa Bookstore before they close at 11:30 a.m. I have to pick up a few art supplies and I decided to purchase Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium with my student discount, even though I'm sure they will come out with Creative Suite 5 in about 6 months or so... but whatever... it's virtually impossible to keep up, unless you are filthy rich, which I am not. Anyway, maybe I'll see you out in the streets of downtown tonight...

Aloha Friday...

... well, technically, I guess it would be Aloha Thursday. This is an extra good Thursday for two reasons... the first reason being that tomorrow is a Holiday and I am off! Second reason being that because I'm off tomorrow, and the 5th falls on a Sunday, we get our paychecks today! Chee! Can't get any better than that! I love love love long weekends! Have a Happy 4th of July, folks!
