My friend Chad from California was in town on a business trip this past week. I had only one full day open to spend with him, since work has been in crazy mode, so we decided to take a hike... in Manoa Falls, that is. It was such a beautiful day to be outdoors, and being that I don't get out much, it was a really nice change of scenery for me. I gotta say though, my little legs are paying for it, as I never go hiking (a fact clearly apparent for those unfortunate enough to witness my hiking on Saturday)... but it was well worth it.

We went to an Obon Dance & Festival at Koganji Temple in Manoa. It was so crowded, parking was crazy and they actually ran out of bentos! Bummahs... but the music was good and the dancers were all having a great time. Here are a few pictures I took. Enjoy.
